도잉아트는 오는 2024년 2월 27일부터 3월 23일까지 이지은 작가의 개인전
‘자각몽(自覺夢)’ 이라고도 부르는 루시드 드림(Lucid Dream)은 자신이 꿈을 꾸고 있다는 사실을 알고 있는 상태에서 꾸는 꿈을 말한다.
이처럼 자신의 꿈 속, 그 안에서는 어떤 상상이든 어떤 상황이든 나의 의지에 따라 꿈을 현실처럼 만들 수 있다.
이지은 작가는 안식처를 찾아 헤매다 바라본 풍경, 색채, 공간, 갈 수 없는 장소 그리고 순간의 지각들이 담겨 있는 그녀만의 꿈 속 풍경들을 화폭에 담아낸다.
어두움과 밝음, 숨기고 싶은 것과 숨고 싶은 곳. 이 모두의 공통점은 덜어내지 않은 감정 그대로의 것들이라는 점이다. 이러한 양날의 감정들은 점차 무의식으로 기억되고 잠재되어 다시 재탄생한다.

꿈을 통해 드러난 그녀의 다채로운 풍경들이 보는 이들에게도 바쁜 삶 속에서의 잠시 쉬어갈 수 있는 달콤한 안식처, 혹은 따뜻한 위로가 될 수 있길 바란다.

Dohing Art presents a solo exhibition by Lee Jieun from February 27 to March 23, 2024.
Lucid Dream, also called “自覺夢(Ja-Gak-Mong),” refers to a dream you have while knowing that you are dreaming.
In this way, in your dream, in any imagination or situation, you can make your dream like a reality according to your will.
Artist Lee Jieun captures the scenery in her dreams that contains the landscapes, colors, spaces, and forbidden places she encountered while wandering around looking for a sanctuary.
Darkness and brightness, what you want to hide and the place you hid. What they all have in common is that they are bare emotions that have not been lessen. These double-edged emotions are gradually remembered, latent, and reborn as unconscious mind.
“What is a dream? Is it my inner voice and imagination that comes from the unconsciousness or the delusion of void?”
This solo exhibition, filled with new works by Lee Jieun, creates a fantasy created by a mixture of consciousness and unconsciousness, and an atmosphere of an actual dream.
We hope that her colorful scenery revealed through her dreams can be a sweet resting place or warm comfort for viewers to take a break in their busy lives.
