마티스는 꽃을 보기 바라는 사람이라면 언제나 볼 수 있다는 예술의 가능성에 대해 이야기합니다. 피카소가 마티스의 뱃 속에는 태양이 들어있다고 할 정도로 색채의 마법사로 인정받았던 그는 작품으로 빛과 자연을, 행복과 휴식을, 균형과 질서를 표현합니다.
이번 도잉아트에서는 Rotteveel Vermeer, Laurie Skantzos, 윤정희, 서웅주 작가(네 팀의 다섯 작가)와 함께 다양한 예술 매체로 색채, 형태, 물질성 등을 다루고 있는 작품들을 선보입니다. 작가들만의 고유한 색채는 서로 조화를 이루며 시선을 집중시킵니다.
관람객들은 작가들이 제시한 색에 물들어 감정, 감각적 경험, 기억 등을 불러일으키며 주관적인 해석을 통해 색과 상호작용합니다.

또한 오프닝리셉션이 진행되는 6월 8일 토요일에는 서초구에서 주관하는 <클래식다방> 프로그램으로 앙상블 레자미의 클래식 공연이 진행됩니다.
서초구 주민부터 일반 관람객 모두에게 열려 있는 음악 공연으로, 작품과 음악을 한 곳에서 즐길 수 있는 즐거운 시간을 선사 할 예정입니다.
본 전시가 가지고 있는 ”색“의 새로운 해석에 대한 관객들의 주의를 환기하는 서사가 될 수 있기를 기대합니다.

Dohing Art will have an exhibition from June 4 to June 29, 2024.
“There are always flowers for those who want to see them.”
Matisse talks about the possibility of art that anyone who wants to see flowers can always see them. He was recognized as a color wizard, Picasso had mentioned that Matisse had the sun in his stomach. He expressed light and nature, happiness and rest, and balance and order through his work.
In this show, there are pieces dealing with color, shape, and materiality with various art medium by Rotteveel Vermeer, Laurie Skantzos, Junghee Yoon, and Woongjoo Seo (five artists of four teams). The unique colors of the artists harmonize with each other and draw attention.
Visitors are engaged with colors presented by the artists, the colors evoke emotions, sensory experiences, and memories. The viewers interact with colors through their own interpretations.
For who want to see: We hope you can find a deeper understanding and possibility of the relationship between color and art through various functional colors that are not just visual elements.
In addition, on Saturday, June 8, when the opening reception will be held, the classical performance of Ensemble Les Amis will be held under the “Classical Tea Room” program organized by Seocho-gu.
It is a music performance that is open to all residents of Seocho-gu and general visitors and will provide a pleasant time to enjoy work and music in one place.
